What began as a true labor of love in the smoker has found its way home to Philadelphia.

Sophie's BBQ was born with a simple mission: handcraft the best barbecue using the freshest ingredients and the kind of care that turns every plate into something special. Named after our daughter, Sophie, we’ve been blessed to learn and grow right along side of her. Barbecue itself is a slow, honest craft. You show up, you pay attention, you adjust when the wind shifts or the wood burns differently, and you keep going until it’s perfect. That same spirit, hard work, and most importantly love for what we do has carried us to this next chapter in our journey - our second location on Main Street in the heart of Manayunk.
